Lexy began her gymnastics training at Aurora School of Gymnastics at the age of five. She was promoted to pre-team 6 months later and began competing when she was six, staying with ASG until level 10, when she was 15. Because of ongoing problems with her knees, she had bi-lateral knee surgery in the 8th grade. After therapy, she was not able to perform at her full potential but still competed on the Rangeview High School varsity gymnastics and diving teams through high school.

Lexy was a state and regional qualifier every year since the age of six, placing consistently in the top five at State and taking 5th all-around at Regionals. Over 30 trophies and medals [third place and above] and 100 ribbons proudly adorn her personal trophy case.

When she turned 13, Lexy began coaching pre-school to cheerleaders at ASG and continued coaching there for six years. Her last year, she was promoted to intermediate girls’ director. Lexy then went to Gymnastics Plus, coaching team from Levels 5 through 10. Her first year there, she helped take her Level 5 girls to state for a 3rd place team trophy. Mid-August 2004 brought Lexy to Castle Rock School of Gymnastics as front desk manager and head instructor for preschool Stars through Level 5 compulsory girls.
